Parish Plan

Lockerley and East Dean have joined forces in order to tackle the not inconsiderable task of producing the next Parish Plan for the villages.

A Parish Plan is a document prepared by a community, which describes how the community sees itself developing over the next few years.  It is about what is important in your local community and cover the whole spectrum of social, economic and environmental issues.

For more information on Parish Plans, visit the Test Valley Borough Council website

A committee has been formed by members of both Parish Councillors, and we have now produced a questionnaire for villagers which should by now have been delivered to your door along with an envelope to return it in. Completed questionnaires can be returned by placing them in provided boxes in the Coffee Shop, Village Shop and the Churches. The closing date for completed questionnaires has been extended to 28th February 2019, due to late delivery of the questionnaire to some Parishioners.

If you have not received a copy or have mislaid yours, you can download and print a new one from here.

Your responses will be anonymous unless you wish to give your contact details to follow up on any points with the Parish Plan committee. Your responses will only be used in order to collate data for the purposes of driving the content of the Parish Plan, and will be destroyed once they have been processed.

We will keep residents informed of progress of the production of the Parish Plan, and opportunities to contribute & give feedback, via this web page so please check back regularly for updates.
